Spock has the best head sculpt of this set, looking very much like Quinto's Spock. Including Jakks Pacific, Mattel, Silver Buffalo, Wrestling, Action Figures, Clocks, Mugs, Playsets, Prop ... TNA Wrestling Deluxe Impact Action Figures Wave 1 Set ... This results in a very thin, almost transparent, and uneven "layer" of paint over the top of the applied area. The dated quality of the re-used figure, coupled with the inexplicable use of light blue air-brushing, made this figure a disappointing offering in the Venom department. Digger has since taken a more reasonable approach: releasing small numbers of figures and characters directly to the collector's market, rather than trying to tempt children in any way. Before we begin, however, something that we should state is that, as with many vintage toys, the true value is in the eye of the beholder. Or better yet buy two, one to keep in the box and one to play with. To my knowledge - which is admittedly limited in this area, but I'm sure my esteemed editor will correct me if I'm wrong - this is the first comic-based black costume Spider-Man since Series 9 of the Spider-Man Classic line way back in aught-four, and therefore, that's the gold standard to which this figure is being compared by many collectors.
