All these figures are scaled by computer nowadays anyway, what with two-ups and all, so how damned hard is it to really just give the manufacturer the same requirements for each line? It's not like it's impossible; everyone else can do it! But whatever, it's too late to complain now. Liberty Arm & Torch. Leo Sewell's Monument to Play! joined by Santa Claus, baseball bats, action figures, license plates bearing the logos of ...As part of the ... So even children may decide to get into collecting superhero figures, although they may not be able to keep the figures in the boxes and not play with them. It's a decent toy, and comes straight from the comics, but you really must see it in person before buying: the paint issues are endemic, so it's really a question of finding the one that has the fewest glaring problems. Its cast in a very good gold plastic (why oh why won't Hasbro do a classic C-3PO in gold plastic rather than that horrible vac-metalized look that was tacky even 10 years ago!?) with a very, very nice, light wash of "metallic peach" (probably a light a copper or something) that accents the textures and detailing incredibly well. He's almost the same size as a Hobbit, ala the movies, and a super-creepy sculpt adorns his soft, bendy plastic self. While I still have hopes that the playsets and vehicles might turn out great, none of these figures are going to end up on anybodies best of lists for this year. With more and more new movies coming out, made from superhero comic books, it is easy to understand why these figures are so popular.
